A handsome antique 19th Century Welsh oak dresser, originating from the Swansea Valley. The dresser features a five-drawer base above a potboard, with elegant turned front legs and attractive turned feet to the front, and square legs to the rear. The drawers are framed with cockbeaded edges and fitted with later brass swan-neck handles, replacing an earlier set of wooden knobs. Above sits a well-proportioned three-shelf plate rack complete with original hooks, and fitted with brackets ready for wall fixing.
