Stunning early tribal antique Bakshaish runner woven with a large scale geometric medallion design. A very soft wool pile on this antique runner which dates from 1870-1880. Wonderful dye change can be seen throughout, blue to greenish blues to brown tones, sandy reds and terracottas. A really wonderful tribal runner in good order for its age, some lower pile but a strong foundation and durable piece nonetheless.
