Size: 6ft 2inx 4ft 7in (189 x 140m) excluding tassels.

Antique Uzbek Lakai tribal ceremonial horse cover / saddle rug.

Circa 1920.

This beautiful embroidered horse / saddle cover was made by the Lakai tribe of Uzbekistan, it was used on special occasions such as weddings. The red wool field is covered in silk embroidery with classic Lakai designs.

The cover is in outstanding condition with very little wear. Note the decorative printed cotton backing.
