Brief Description:

This is a truly remarkable, original, museum-quality Edwardian Oil on Canvas Painting depicting a beautiful still life study of fruit, including bananas, lemon, pineapple, walnuts, apple, wine and a pewter charger.

This is one of 2 very similar oil paintings we are selling by the same hand - see images.

This is one of the most immaculate and original time-warped oil paintings we have encountered!

The condition is truly flawless, and the painting and the frame are in as good condition as they were when it was painted in 1906.

Indeed, it has had us wondering where on earth it has been displayed/stored during the past 120 years, as it looks like it was painted yesterday.

A superb piece in every respect.

It is signed 'F.E. Crook', and it is dated '1906' in the lower right corner.

Mounted within the huge, original gadrooned and moulded gilt frame.
