This is a truly remarkable, original, museum-quality Edwardian Oil on Board Painting depicting a beautiful still life study of fruit, including dates, a banana, lemon, Orange and a bone-handled butter knife.

This is one of the most immaculate and original time-warped oil paintings we have encountered!
The condition is truly flawless, and the painting and the frame are in as good condition as they were when it was painted in 1906.
This particular piece has the E.S.K (Examined South Kensington) blind stamp in the lower left corner, which is evidence of the overall quality!
Indeed, it has had us wondering where on earth it has been displayed/stored during the past 122 years, as it looks like it was painted yesterday.
A superb piece in every respect.
It is signed ''F.E. Crook'
...', and it is dated ''1904'' in the lower right corner.
Mounted within the huge, original gadrooned and moulded gilt frame.
