This is a beautiful handwoven Luri Rug with a lovely warm colour palette in really excellent condition dating from around 1930.The carpet had an abrashed brick red and raspberry field with three stepped and linked cruciform medallions all framed by borders of stylised meandering vines flanked by guard stripes.
