The Antiques Hound has dated this Stained Glass Fire Screen to the 19th Century.
The panel features richly coloured hand-cut stained glass in jewel tones of ruby red, turquoise, amber, green and mauve, arranged in a beautifully balanced symmetrical pattern with a central lozenge motif.

The stained glass panel is housed within its original metal frame and raised on a decorative wrought iron stand with scroll carrying handle to the top.
An excellent example of Arts & Crafts craftsmanship with strong architectural presence and vibrant colour.

Condition:
Good antique condition with age-related wear consistent with period use; just a couple of hairline cracks to the glass. The glass displays beautifully and the frame retains an attractive aged patina.
