Description

A pretty French 19th Century two seat sofa in Louis XV style, the soft white painted frame with pale grey and gilt detailing. The upholstered back with rococo carved cresting and shapely arms, with sprung, serpentine shaped, seat and raised on cabriole legs,

The sofa is in structurally good condition with no wobbles to the frame. The seat does need some of the springs tieing back and of coruse it does need recovering. I can arrange the upholstery and also supply fabric if required. Please get in touch for a qute.

A very pretty antique sofa of a suitable size for a bedroom or bathroom, with old paintwork.

The back 99cm high at the centre, 123cm wide Mac, the seat 54cm deep and 42cm high.
