Size: 11ft 9in x 8ft 4in (358 x 255cm).

Antique Persian Kashan carpet of classic design and truly outstanding colour.

Circa 1900.

The carpet has a small central medallion in Ivory and indigo blue on a soft madder red ground. The design is a classic Kashan floral design with beautifully drawn sprays of flowers. The corner spandrels are in soft blues and ivory. The carpet is of very fine weave with excellent soft wool, the dye quality is exceptional; giving superb depth to all the colours. This is a carpet of the highest quality and would grace any room, sitting alongside fine furnishings.

The border is an outstanding feature of this carpet being of a classic Kashan floral design.

The carpet is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good pile.

The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use such as a dining or living room.

The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use.
