Antique Tibetan Meditation Rug, Circa 1920, 1.40m X 0.75m

This attractive Tibetan ''khaden'' or meditation rug dates to the early 20th century. The chequerboard design is instantly recognisable and universally appealing. Woven in three panels which have then been sewn together, each panel has slightly different shades of a pinkish red, creating a lovely sense of movement. Soft wool and in very good condition, this rug is both collectible and very decorative.
