Antique Burr Walnut Chest on Chest of Drawers

1920 - 1940
Description

An outstanding antique burr walnut chest on chest of drawers. This was made in England, it is in the Georgian style and dates from around the 1930’s.

This is exceptionally well made and is a fantastic size, with lots of storage space in the many drawers. The burr walnut grain patterns are gorgeous, this sits on cabriole legs with acanthus leaf carving, and has lovely brass handles. There is also crisp carving around the top, middle and lower edges.

We have just recently had this re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age.

Depth – 23 inches , 58 cm

Height – 60 inches , 151 cm
