1930s Cortebert pocket watch, Winegartens.

The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. This is a Cortebert calibre 536 movement, supplied to Winegartens to be sold as a private label piece. The movement is signed Winegartens, a prestigious London based jeweller and retailer. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the Birmingham based watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case is in good condition with just light surface marks, nothing too serious.

The glass lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in super condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
