Description

Antique Thomas Russell Gallet full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a high grade 21-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. Screw-set jewels, beautifully patterned plates and swan neck regulator. From 1881, Thomas Russell imported movements from Switzerland and we believe this particular example was supplied by Gallet. The movement is all protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case is in beautiful condition.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is a glass lens which is beautiful condition (some white natural light reflection showing in the main photo).

The dial is signed with the name Thomas Russell & Son, Liverpool. It is in lovely condition.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
