Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this Regency Bronze Ormolu Tazzas to the 19th Century.
Each bowl with an egg and dart rim, curving over a concave collar and thence broad rounded reeds, taping inward and downward to meet the reed topped socle, and ringed cover of the base, spreading in chased flutes, to meet the circular foot rim and square plinth.
The tazza with rising classical leaf handles, finished with flower head paterae. The whole in a pleasing contrast of bronze and ormolu, with very good patination.
Date circa 1820.
