Dragoncharger Antiques has dated this Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Charger to the 1880s.
High-quality cloisonne enamel with skilled brass wire work and multi-coloured enamels.
The reverse decorated with flowers and a variety of geometrical patterns. The dark green enamel is unique to this era. Substantial use of wires, both decorative and functional in anchoring the enamel in early Japanese cloisonne work.

Condition: Good condition. Some enameling imperfections and losses around base rim (shown in photos). Display lighting used in some photos to capture the beauty and colour of the vivid enamel.
