An Original Antique /Old Pine Columned Hungarian Waxed 5 Drawer Chest of Drawers

This chest of drawers is in good condition. It has been superbly restored in Hungary and then waxed it in a lovely antique brown bri wax giving it a stunning patina.

This chest of drawers would look well in a large property bedroom amongst similar antique pine furniture. This would also look great in any downstairs room with decorative items placed on top. It is very heavy so I will require a hand off the van with it.

These Hungarian chests are very large so please be aware your staircase needs to be wide enough to get it upstairs and to be able to maneuver it on the landing.

This chest stands on square back legs and round turned front bun feet supporting the main section. There are two small drawers over three larger drawers. The smaller drawers have metal drop handles with a lined moulding. The larger drawers have round turned wooden knobs. There are metal key escutcheons on the larger drawers. The drawers have dovetail joints and are pine lined. The drawers run smoothly. To the sides there are turned columns. The top is in good condition with a bull nosed edge.

The height is 118cm, the width is 131cm and the depth is 60cm.

Shipping /delivery is equally as important to us as the item of furniture itself. It is simple; we deliver everything personally in England / Wales so this way we are 100% sure that the item / furniture reaches our customers safe and sound. We NEVER use couriers. Delivery is generally within 7-14 days of purchase. We guarantee delivery anywhere in England / Wales within 21 days of purchase.

Deliveries are either carried out by David or James as one member of the team is required to stay in the warehouse, therefore we do require assistance from the van into your hallway with the item of furniture. We have set delivery days and once the van is loaded (a day prior to delivery) David will call customers to arrange a two hour delivery time slot. Customers will also receive a text when delivery is 30 minutes away.

It is really helpful if customers can provide their ‘what3words’ location to make delivery as smooth

as possible, especially properties in rural locations.

Ireland Deliveries

We do use a very good courier company called DVM Service to deliver goods to Ireland. We ask the customer to pay this company direct for the delivery charge and we then liaise with DVM regarding collection of a customer’s item of furniture to be shipped to Ireland.

Europe & Rest of the World

We do not ship to Europe or the Rest of the World.
