A Late Victorian Walnut And Burr Walnut Triple Wardrobe C1890

A late Victorian Walnut and Burr Walnut triple wardrobe and dating from around 1890. This wonderful example has a moulded cornice with a carved and castalated pediment above and a Burr Walnut lip underneath. To the centre are two small doors both of which has a carved panel above, a Burr Walnut panel with a Brass handle and a shelf inside. Underneath them is an open mirror backed compartment then four graduating Ash lined drawers with Brass handles and Burr Walnut drawer fronts. It has doors to both ends of the wardrobe both of which have a mirror with a carved panel above and Brass handles. Inside is a shelf and a rail on both sides. The wardrobe stands on a plinth base and it separates into seven pieces for ease of movement.
