The base shows a traditional pedestal form, each side fitted with a run of three graduated drawers, all retaining their brass swan-neck handles and escutcheons. The desk is raised on plinth bases and offers a comfortable kneehole space, making it well suited for use as a writing or home office desk. The desk dismantles into four sections for ease of transport, comprising the top, the central drawer, and the two pedestals.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with signs of age. There is surface wear in places, including age-related mark and scratches. The leather writing surface shows wear, scuffing, and rubbing to the surface and gilt tooling, consistent with use (pictured). There are small knocks and abrasions to the plinth bases and corners, along with general patination throughout. All drawers run well and the desk remains structurally solid and sound.
