Antique Satin Walnut Chest Of Drawers

A handsome satin walnut chest of drawers, with a wonderfully rich colour and striking figured grain throughout. The chest features two short over three long graduated drawers, each with turned wooden knobs and brass keyholes. The chest stands on turned feet. Well proportioned and practical, with all drawers running smoothly. A very attractive example.

CONDITION REPORT:
 
In good antique condition. There are marks and wear to the top (pictured) along with damage to the back edges and splitting to the sides, all consistent with age and use. The right hand side shows areas of discolouration and surface scratches as pictured. There is evidence of historic woodworm to all the feet, which is long gone and treated as a precaution The drawers run smoothly, and the chest remains solid and functional.
