Unusual early 19th century French marble top commode chest with doors opening to a cupboard space, circa 1830.The central door panel is marquetry inlaid with a scene and also mother of pearl, original ormolu mounts and a fantastic original marble top too.Good piece for use in a living room as a drinks cabinet perhaps and certainly very decorative.Some small hints of age around the chest, but nothing out of the ordinary.
