Description

An antique Georgian mahogany bow front chest of drawers. The chest has an arrangement of two short over two long drawers, each fitted with brass pull handles and decorative escutcheon plates. Decorative apron to the front and raised on splayed feet. A particularly charming example, neatly proportioned with good colour and patina throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and minor dents to the surface, sides and feet, however these don’t affect the overall integrity of the piece. There are also age related shrinkage splits to the top (pictured. Structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a good fine of its kind.
