Antique Caucasian Gendje Kazak runner with boteh design.

Circa 1900.

An outstanding example of a Gendje Kazak runner with rows of colourful boteh on a midnight blue ground, the boteh are beautifully drawn and use a wonderful range of colours.. The 'oak leaf' border on a soft red ground is typical of the Gendje region. A very good furnishing Caucasian runner.

The runner is in excellent good with slight even wear and medium pile.

The runner is suitable for normal domestic use.

The runner has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
