Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Preservation requires regular gentle vacuuming without a beater bar, professional washing by a specialist in antique textiles, avoiding direct prolonged sunlight to prevent dye fading, and using a breathable underlay to prevent slipping and fibre abrasion.

This piece can be layered over larger neutral flooring to anchor a seating arrangement, displayed as a focal point in a hallway, or even mounted on a wall as a textile art piece to introduce texture, warmth, and history into modern living spaces.

Authentication involves examining the natural variations in hand-spun wool, the presence of organic dye irregularities, the tightness of the knotting on the reverse, and traditional tribal motifs such as repeat floral patterns or stylized medallions unique to the weaving group.

These carpets are constructed using hand-spun wool for the pile, warp, and weft, often utilizing natural vegetable dyes derived from plants, roots, and insects to achieve rich hues. The weaving technique employs a sturdy wool foundation with asymmetric knots tied by hand.

Baluch rugs are hand-knotted textiles traditionally produced by nomadic and semi-nomadic Baluchi tribes inhabiting the borderlands of Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Known for their deep colour palettes and intricate geometric or floral motifs, these historical pieces reflect the rich weaving heritage of the region.
