An antique mahogany pedestal desk with red tooled leather top, British, circa 1850. The desk features a traditional twin-pedestal form with nine drawers and one central frieze drawer, each with turned brass handles and original locks. The top is fitted with a hand-tooled red leather insert bordered in gold. Standing on solid plinth bases, the desk separates into three sections for ease of movement.
