As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this fine quality diminutive Meiji Period (1868-1912) cloisonne enamel square form dish artsist sealed to the underside. The green enamel central panel depicts a bird pecking at the ground beneath a bed of flowers aside a large rockwork, this entire panel predominatly worked with gold wires throughout, the rockwork most unusually framed with flattened gold wire.
