The upper section comprises glazed double doors with geometric astragal framing, topped by a traditional moulded cornice. Below, a slanted fall-front slope displays a central oval shell marquetry inlay motif, opening to reveal an interior workspace, while the lower portion contains four graduated long drawers fitted with antique-style swan-neck metal handles and supported by bracket feet.
