A beautifully proportioned Edwardian oak fire surround in wonderful antique condition. The 12" deep mantel shelf features a finely moulded edge sits on carved capitals, leading down to elegant columns flanking an opening—measuring 101.5cm high by 102cm wide. Standing on block feet, the surround bears minor wear to the base, which only enhances its authentic charm. The oak has developed a rich, medium-toned patina that highlights the striking grain and quality of craftsmanship.
