Hingstons of Wilton has dated this Edwardian Mahogany Pedestal Desk to the Edwardian era.
The desk is fitted with nine graduated drawers—three along the top and six in the pedestals—each accented with cockbeaded edges and finished with unusually ornate brass swing handles, which lend a distinctive and refined touch.
A key highlight is the fully panelled back, making this desk suitable as a free-standing piece, ideal for placement in the center of a room. The desk rests on solid plinth bases, offering both structural stability and classical symmetry.
