For sale a fine slim full hunter silver cased pocket watch by Charles Frodsham, 84 Strand, London, No 3287 dating circa 1855. Matching case and movement numbers. Fully signed gilt and numbered gilt movement, in working order, keeping time. Unsigned dial which is particularly good condition apart from the small lines running to the sub-seconds dial, all as shown in the pics. Charles Frodsham is known as one of the best British watch & Clock makers, and finding items made by him are becoming scarce. The full hunter silver case is free from any dent or major wear as seen in the pics; all hinges are tight fitting. I fine example by a renowned maker. Diameter 47mm excluding top ring and stem and 12mm deep. Price £495.00 inclusive of shipping to within the UK (Reserved IS)
