Description

An exceptional Victorian walnut credenza/display cabinet in outstanding original condition. This elegant piece showcases exquisite burr walnut veneers, enhanced by delicate crossbanding and fine string inlay decoration.

The central door features a striking Sèvres-style plaque, framed within an impressive ormolu mount, adding a touch of opulence. Behind it, two removable velvet-covered shelves. Flanking this are two bow-front glazed doors, each enclosing additional removable shelves with velvet fabric inserts and inlaid edges. While the velvet shows some age-related wear, it can easily be replaced to suit individual taste.

Radiating quality and sophistication, this distinguished credenza is a remarkable statement piece.
