The designs are ''typical'' of this type, often referred to as ''Gajeri'', which refers to the technique of weaving, a brocade type weave with the dyed warps hanging loose on the back and brought to the front when necessary to make the design. This example has a repeat banded design and wonderful natural dye colours throughout.
