Description:
A good one pint tavern mug, by Susannah Cocks of London, England who worked 1820 - 1847.
The mug has U shaped slightly ''droopy'' body and stands on a stepped foot. The handle is of double scroll form with a fish tail terminal at the lower end. There is a set of three hallmarks to the left of the handle. The mug is not verified and has no capacity label, so we can assume that this was a tavern mug or made for private use.
