Description

Antique silver Uno half hunter pocket watch, 1929.

The watch has a 15-jewel Swiss stem-winding movement, signed Uno, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks for Birmingham 1929, with a case maker’s mark for the Birmingham manufacturer Aaron Dennison. The case is in very nice condition with nice crisp engine turned detail to both the front and back.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.

Inside, there is a glass lens which is in lovely condition.

The dial looks good to the naked eye… if viewed through a magnifying loupe, there is a small patch of very faint short hairlines between 12 and 1. Original blued steel hands including the special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
