Description

A very nice example of an early 18thc brass bowl, it has slightly tilting sides and wide rim, all early features....these bowls were for domestic use, which would explain why they are getting hard to find....this fine bowl would have been used in the bedroom for washing purposes and also used in the farmhouse / manor house kitchen. I like the early feature of the rolled copper rivet joining the ring to the bowl , so it can be hung up, when not in use....the bowl is in very good condition for its age and use.
