A classic George III solid Mahogany Writing Bureau Chest surviving from around c1780.
 
George III figured walnut bureau, fall-front enclosing central cupboard, six pigeonholes and six drawers, fitted with four graduated cock beaded drawers, on bracket feet
 
Having Oak lined drawers throughout ,
 
With a plain writing surface above a selection of pigeon holes with a central cupboard.
 
All drawers on the chest run smoothly and has its original backboards.
 
This classically designed chest oozes all the class of the period.
 
Original ageing and Patina is present throughout this item , structurally sound.
 
This item is offered in Country House condition, it has original wear and tear throughout, which gives this piece its own unique character. With age related scuffs and scrapes expected of an honest piece of Regency furniture.
