George III Mahogany Library Chest

A fine quality George III figured mahogany leather topped library chest with single cupboard and drawers to the front c.1800. Black tooled inset leather to the top with mahogany band and moulded edge. The front with a set of five drawers to the right side each with original brass ring pull handles, the left side with a set of faux drawers forming the cupboard door. The cupboard with adjustable single shelf and working lock and key, which also locks the drawers. Figured mahogany sides and apron feet with moulded upper edge. Ideal as a study, library or sitting room piece, presented in superb original condition with a rich colour and original patina. Keep up to date via Instagram - sturmansantiques.
