A wonderful antique watercolour painting by Frank Dadd, signed and dated 1914.
Frank Dadd was a well known and highly skilled artist, known for his military themed works. This depicts a village scene which appears to show marching soldiers leading new soldiers off to war. This was interestingly painted in the year the great war began, illustrating the mood of the country.
It is beautifully executed and framed, the condition is very good with some minor wear to the frame. The painting is behind a glass frame.
