A Georgian caddy-top chest of drawers is characterized by its distinct top moulding, which features a slightly raised rim or caddy edge rather than a flat, overhanging top. Popularised in 18th-century Britain, these pieces frequently feature a pull-out brushing slide set above a series of graduated drawers with cast brass hardware.
