A classic George III solid Mahogany Writing Bureau Chest surviving from around c1780.
 
Standing on Bracket feet with graduating cock beaded drawers and decorative georgian brass handles.
 
Having Oak lined drawers throughout ,
 
With a green leather writing surface above a selection of drawers and pigeon holes with a central lockable inlaid cupboard with lovely shell motif and a working key.
 
Also having the most fantastic historical ink stains which have melded into the wood over time.
 
All large drawers on the chest run smoothly and has its original backboards.
 
This classically designed chest oozes all the class of the period.
 
Original ageing and Patina is present throughout this item , structurally sound.
 
This item is offered in Country House condition, it has original wear and tear throughout, which gives this piece its own unique character. With age related scuffs and scrapes expected of an honest piece of Regency furniture.
