Antique Ersari Turkmen torba with star in octagon design.
 
Circa 1880.
 
A very good torba with a well drawn example of this classic Ersari design. The colour is superb with a clear soft red, indigo blues and yellow high lights. There are the remnants of the original tassels.
 
The torba is in excellent condition with slight wear and good pile, there is one small spot of slightly heavier wear, it has a very soft floppy handle.
