A superbly solid and sturdy bed indeed. Purchased in the south of France, likely a commissioned piece, crafted in Italy.
Naturally aged brass has been sympathetically cleaned to preserve the lovely patina. Whole bed has been checked to ensure solid construction and good assembly. Side rails have been adapted to support wood slats and modern length and king size mattress 5’ x 6’6” / 150cm x 200cm.

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. 2" base and 11” deep mattress used for photograph. We can also supply hand-made mattresses in all comfort choices.
