Description

Howard and Sons Deep Seat Special Bridgewater suite comprising sofa and two chairs standing on ball and claw feet and with show wood connecting the legs. It is unusual to find all three of a set and especially to find a set where the sofa is the same height and model as the chairs. This is an elegant set with good tall legs, fine detailed carving and the show wood on the sides highlights the serpentine profile where the arms run parallel to the base of the chair.

Provenance: Made for the Spanish Embassy.
