A traditional Welsh dresser base of three drawers above a central, arched “dog-kennel” opening flanked by plain, recessed-panel doors, on four stile front legs. Made from dense and well-figured native oak, with a pale, dy surface. Old but later brassware. Pembrokeshire/Carmarthenshire, circa 1820-40.
