A fine and unusual cold painted bronze figure of an antelope. The piece is beautifully modelled and an excellent example of the type. The figure is very unusual being an antelope with is curved horns. The painted decoration is all original and in good condition just with the usual slight wear. It would have been originally mounted on a marble base. The work is of a good size and nice weight and shows quality craftsmanship throughout. It is not marked though it certainly is of the quality of the famous cold painted bronze maker Franz Bergman.
