Large late 19th century Chinese bronze censer,c1880. Well cast and heavy at 2.5kg it is nicely decorated across the body and lid. It stands of tripod legs which are topped with Kylin /temple lion masks. The lid is topped with a temple lion/Kylin finial and it has lovely ring lion mask handles. The lid is pierced to allow the smoke from the incense to escape. The bronze has taken on good colour/patina and overall condition is good with no obvious issues.
