Good Regency rosewood and gilt brass side cabinet; attributed to Gillows; the original Carrara white marble top resting on a moulded and cross banded frieze above the striking pair of doors having well figured rosewood panels framed with gilt brass mouldings and finely cast gilt brass anthemions to all corners. The interior having two full width adjustable shelves. The doors with original working lock and key. Raised on typical Gillow pattern gadrooned turned feet.
English circa 1820
Very good original condition with a lovely colour. Marble commensurate of age and use with very minor chips.
