Prometheus Antiques has dated this Royal Doulton Porcelain Plate to the 1910s.
The fish are depicted in wonderful detail in amongst the reeds and water plants. The piece is signed to the lower left of the painting. The decoration occupies the whole of the plate which is finished with a simple gilt edge. The reverse which has a beautifully gilded foot rim has the Royal Doulton mark which date the piece to between 1901-1922 and the name of the fish. The whole is a fine example of porcelain painting by a great artist and features a desirable fish species. C.1910.
