Large late 19th century Chinese bronze cloisonné bowl,c1880. This is a fine example, well cast and heavy at 1.7kg. Profusely decorated with bats and other traditional motifs ,the enamel work is still vibrant with lovely red, yellow, blue colours etc. The bronze rim and base are also decorated. The bronze has aged well with good colour/patina. Overall condition is good with no obvious losses to the enamel and only minor age related rubbing to the bronze, all as you would expect from a piece of this age.
