The 7 mahogany lined drawers having satinwood cross banded edges all with brass knob handles. The side stiles with stringing and the right hand one hinged as a locking bar. All on shaped plinth base.

Edwardian examples were predominantly constructed from mahogany, walnut, or satinwood, often featuring decorative timber stringing, veneer crossbanding, and hand-dovetailed drawer linings.
