Antique George III Mahogany Chest on Chest

A tall and elegant George III mahogany chest on chest, featuring a classic arrangement of two short over five long drawers. Each drawer is fitted with oval brass handles and a neatly shaped escutcheon. The piece is raised on bracket feet and separates into two sections for ease of movement, with the lower section comprising the bottom two drawers.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition with signs of age and use throughout. There is surface wear, including age-related marks and scratches. Staining is present on the top of the chest and across some of the drawer fronts. There is also some loss to one of the corners and to the sides. These signs of wear are consistent with age and do not affect the piece’s overall stability or functionality.
